Top Of The Stairs - Lookout Point

Here is everyones request for what is up at the top of the stairs. It is a very beautiful view!!

During the summertime Alton will hold outside concerts at the Gazebo - I haven't been to one in years though!!

My First Award

1) I love country music & My favorite clothing is a pair of blue jeans, cotton shirt & my cowboy boots!! My favorite singer is George Strait and my favorite no #1 song of all time is "The Chair" by - you guessed it George Strait.

2) I perform better under pressure. I do procrastinate sometimes to the last minute because I can!!! If I have all day to do something and start it early than it seems as though I cannot get "into" it until the last few minutes.

3) I was once a few years back in a local commercial. I was a Real Estate Agent and my partner at that time and I done a "Charlies Angels" theme commercial for our Real Estate business. It was very funny and we did not let it run for very long. Hopefully it will never show up on You Tube!!

4) I went to the same small town elementary school from kindergarden to 6th grade & graduated with about 20 of the same kids I went to kindergarden with. My graduation class was aprox 630 students. I now don't live that far from where I grew up at (aprox 20 miles) and I have never ran into any of these people. I often wonder where they are all at!!!

5) I graduated from Cosmetology school - Real Estate & took Accounting in college and I don't do any of these professions anymore.

6) I also took a dream Psychology class in college. I think it is amazing what our dreams can tell us about ourselves and sometimes others. I pay attention to my dreams because they have helped me figure out a lot about myself or what I am going to have to face.

7) I don't like to be in big crowds. I can socialize one on one or with a few but I don't like speaking to a large group, or even talking around a large group. I will listen and love to watch people but in a large group setting I am usually part of the kitchen detail or clean up crew.

8) I do not like roller coasters!! I don't like anything that goes fast or takes my breath away.

Not much of a risk taker I guess.

9) My favorite store to go to is the book store. I will sit in the aisle and read several different books until I find the perfect one. I have spent 4-5 hrs inside these stores before and way too much money a couple of times.

10) I Love my husband, and children with all my heart and always will!! I have been blessed with a wonderful family!!! This includes my parents-inlaws-siblings-aunts-cousins-grndparents-ect... I thank God for the wonderful people that he has placed in my life. I know the times have not always been easy or great - but I thank God for never giving up on me!!! I also know that I am not perfect in any way shape or form and have made several mistakes - Thank God for forgiving.

Wow I am glad there was only 10 because I am a very boring person and I don't think I could tell anything more. I know I am suppose to pass this on to 7 more wonderful blogs but I have decided that if anyone wants this award they are more than welcome to take it. Please just leave me a comment that you have taken it so I can check out your truths.

Oh and one more thing I forgot to mention - I don't always follow all the rules- I do tend to do my own thing - (just ask my Hubs)

This was taken at Lake Kincaid in Ava, IL - We have a little camp site there that we spend every weekend that we can during the summer. I sure wish the weather would get warmer so we could go now!! This is our "Get Away" & I can't wait for Summer!!

Birthday with friends

We celebrated my daughters 20th birthday this Friday by going out to dinner with a couple of her best friends.

You would not believe what all they have in their purses!! Looks like they are going somewhere for the weekend to me. JK!! JK!!

Ohhh to be young again!!! My daughter made everyone the beaded bracelets for christmas - Aren't they cute??
